CLEAN GANGA
We all know that
GANGA has been the prime interest of the INDIAN newly elected Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.
His project CLEAN
GANGA has received a short-in-the-arm with South Australia government, who is
showing their interest in cleaning up the river.
Besides being the
oldest river and having a very deep historical background, River Ganga has
always been somewhere centering of Indian politics. For all the Hindus Ganga is
not only a river but a goddess whom they worship. It is believed that bathing
in Ganga destroys all of your sins and negativity not only that but it’s also
true that the water of river Ganga is considered as the purest of all the water
present on earth which can be drink directly.
But Ganga is dyeing,
not as its water is going to end. It’s dyeing because this holy river is losing
its purity. Even chemical tests have confirmed that Ganga is not the same what
she was 100 years earlier.
Her water is now losing its purity.
It’s not about the
Hindus, Ganga has given her pure water to every single living being. So it’s
the nations duty to keep it clean, maintain its purity and keep it alive for
the next generation.
As per the South
Australian premier Mr. Jay Weatherhill , his government would propose the plan
to clean Ganga on Wednesday.
During one of his promotional
campaign he said that…
“We have the
expertise to clean rivers and we are interested in taking up the 'Clean Ganga'
project. We are also planning to meet India's water resources ministry and the
Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs to give them our proposal”
